Paradise Dam to be restored to full capacity.

After a two-year wait the Queensland Government has finally made the correct decision to restore The Paradise Dam Wall to the original height. Giving the dam a capacity of 300,000 megalitres.

This is fantastic news for the region as it delivers water security for irrigators.

BUT

It could take 6 or 7 years before the works are completed. Construction is due to start by 2024 and the state government has assured growers that they will not have to pay for it.
